Roy Woodhouse
Join us for an enriching journey in British pronunciation, guided by Roy Woodhouse, a devoted and experienced teacher of English as a foreign language. Born in Nottingham and brought up on the picturesque Isle of Wight, Roy speaks with the clear, classic tones of Received Pronunciation (RP).
Over the past decade, Roy has shared his love for the English language with students at respected language schools in London and Cambridge, including St Giles and Stafford House. His time at BBC Learning English demostrated his dedication to helping learners from all corners of the world.
More than just a teacher, Roy is a believer in the power of language. He established ‘English Right Now’ in 2016, aiming to make learning English more approachable and practical for everyone. Holding a CELTA certification and specialising in IELTS preparation, Roy is committed to supporting his students in reaching their language objectives.
